Businesses and residents in Gorleston are being given an early warning that the High Street will be closed for five evenings in May.
The busy thoroughfare will be shut for resurfacing work from 6 - 11pm from Monday, May 12 to Friday 16.
The resurfacing will extend along the High Street from a point between School Lane and Duke Road to south of the junction with Church Lane/Baker Street.
A signed diversion will be in place and access will be maintained for properties on the road.
No work will take place on Saturday, May 17 but four-way traffic lights will be at the Church Lane/Baker Street junction the following day.
