Former Norfolk headteacher in court charged with number of serious sexual offences

A former headteacher at a private school, in Norfolk, has appeared at magistrates court charged with a number of serious sexual offences. His case has been sent to the Norwich Crown Court.
A former Norfolk head teacher charged with a number of serious sexual offences against a pupil has appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court.
David William Tuohy, 82, of White Horse Road, Oxford, has been charged with four serious sexual assaults and four counts of indecent assault, at Eccles Hall School, now known as New Eccles Hall School, in Quidenham.
The offences are alleged to have taken place in the mid-1970s.
No charges were put to Tuohy, and his case has been sent to the Norwich Crown Court for a further hearing on May 14.
He was given conditional bail.
