Fishing equipment and mountain bike stolen after garage and shed targeted in Lowestoft

Police are seeking witnesses after a garage and a shed were burgled at two properties in Rotterdam Road, Lowestoft.

The first incident took place between 6pm on Wednesday (June 11) and 10am yesterday (Thursday). A padlock was removed from a garage door and the garage was entered, although nothing appears to have been stolen.

The second burglary took place yesterday between 11.15am and 12.15pm. The door was forced on a garden shed and a man’s silver and blue 24-geared Saracen mountain bike – described as having no mudguards and two water bottle racks – and fishing equipment including five or six fishing rods and fishing pole rod rests were stolen.
