Police have deployed a drone to help armed officers make an arrest in Great Yarmouth this evening.
Inspector Lou Provart confirmed that a person has been arrested on Marsh Road in Cobholm in Great Yarmouth.
In an earlier post on Twitter he said: 'I have deployed the #Drone to assist with a #Firearms deployment in #Cobholm this evening.
'The matter has resolved successfully.
'No further comment will be made tonight on the operation, but I am grateful to the residents in proximity for their patience and cooperation. #OSCAR1'
Jasmine Heather Hills-Girling posted in a Facebook group named I come from Cobholm Island and I am proud of it: 'Just got back from shop and saw it, plus riot van drove past heading Tesco way.'
