Driver flees scene after crash on A148 which left roundabout badly damaged

Police are appealing for information after a driver failed to stop following a crash in Holt.

Officers were alerted at 6am on Thursday to reports of oil on the road near to the roundabout on the A148.

After arriving on scene it was evident a vehicle had collided with the roundabout, damaging signs. It appears the vehicle, believed to be a Renault, was driven across the roundabout further damaging flowerbeds.

Officers believe the vehicle will have significant damage to the front bumper and radiator, which has resulted in an oil spill.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information concerning the vehicle or driver involved.
