A 21-year-old man who flipped his car in a Breckland village has been arrested after failing a drugs test.

Police were called to Market Street in East Harling at 10.32pm last night to reports a Ford Fiesta was on its roof.

The driver was arrested after he tested positive to a road side drugs test.

Police have said the man was unharmed.

He has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.

Norfolk and Suffolk Roads Police tweeted: “How about a New Years resolution don’t take cocaine and roll your car!”

Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service sent a crew from East Harling to make the vehicle and area safe.
