Police stopped a driver and found he was five times the limit.

Cambridgeshire officers pulled him over in March, Cambs, on Wednesday morning.

A Cambridgeshire Police spokesman said: “We were called by a member of the public at 9.25am who witnessed a drunk driver in Gaul Road, March.

“Police were deployed and arrested a 46-year-old man on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol after he blew 184 in a roadside breath test - the legal limit is 35.”

One officer later tweeted: “Lost for words. 184 at 09:50, legal limit 35! One in custody sus drink drive in #march enquiries continue.”

Yesterday police arrested a lorry driver for drink driving in Wisbech.

A roadside breath test revealed he was twice over the limit behind the wheel of his artic.
