Downham Market police are appealing for witnesses following an assault.

The incident took place on Saturday July 12 at 11pm in The Spice Hut on High Street.

Two men were involved in an altercation which resulted in one of the males receiving a cut to his left eye and a small cut to his right cheek.

The victim in his 30s, was taken to hospital and the cut to his eye required stitches.
