A woman from Downham Market denied threatening another person with a samurai sword in public.
Jane Hawes, 44, of Matisse Court, appeared in King's Lynn magistrates' court on the morning of Thursday, October 5.
In a brief hearing, Hawes only spoke to confirm her name, age, address and to enter her pleas to charges.
She pleaded not guilty to one count of possessing a sharply pointed blade, namely a samurai sword, in a public place.
She also pleaded not guilty to one count of threatening another person with it.
Prosecutor Nicola Pope said the offences allegedly took place on August 29 this year in Matisse Court, Downham Market.
District judge Nicholas Watson ordered for the case to be heard in Norwich Crown Court on Thursday, November 2.
Hawes, who was represented by solicitor Charlotte Winchester, was released under bail.
