Officers say a man threatened a shop assistant at Costcutters, in Elm Low Road, and demanded he hand over cash from the till at about 6.30pm on Saturday.

The offender then made towards Wisbech town centre. Now police have released images of a man they want to speak to in connection with the robbery.

Det Con Ralph King, from Cambridgeshire police, said: “We would urge anyone who recognises the man in these images to call police.

“We believe he may have vital information which could assist our investigation.”

Anyone with any information should call Det Con King on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
