Car keys were also taken, which were used to unlock and search the victim’s car.

Two handbags containing documents, a purse and an iPod Shuffle were taken from the flat in Waterloo Road, where burglars got in through an unlocked front door.

The victim’s car keys were also taken and the glove box was searched.

Police are keen to hear from anyone with information about the burglaries or who noticed anything unusual in the area overnight on Friday.
