Two drivers had an altercation in Portland Street, off Railway Road, last night.

Police said the male driver of a silver Vauxhall Astra threatened another man driving a red Nissan Almera.

The driver of the Astra left his vehicle during the incident, which happened around 8pm, and approached the Nissan, shouting threatening remarks and banging on the window before leaving the scene.

The Astra driver is described as between 25 to 30 years-old with brown hair, a small brown beard and bad teeth. He was wearing a blue t-shirt at the time.

Police say anyone who saw the incident or has any further information about it, should call PC Dan Cherington, at Lynn police station, on 101.
