A DIAMOND ring and a laptop were stolen when burglars broke into a house in Gorleston.

It happened between 12.45pm and 2.45pm at Blackwall Reach, close to the Morrisons supermarket, on Monday, January 9.

Burglars climbing a fence in the back garden and forced open a side window before stealing a laptop and a diamond ring. The ring holds great sentimental value to the victim as it belonged to his late wife.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or noticed anything suspicious in the area between the times stated.
