Two teenagers from the Dereham area are “assisting police with their inquiries” after a town centre assault.

Between 6.30 and 7.30pm on Sunday June 1, three people were involved in an incident in Dereham Market Place.

One of them had head injuries which needed stitches.

A spokesperson for Norfolk police said a 15-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy are helping police with their enquiries.

Any witnesses should call 101.
