Dereham dog walker assaulted

A woman suffered a minor head injury after she was hit while out walking her dog in Dereham.

Between 8.05pm and 8.15pm in Rollingpin Lane on May 1 a woman in her 20s was struck from behind causing her to fall to the ground.

The victim, who suffered bruising and a cut to her neck, didn’t see her attacker but heard someone run from the scene.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or noticed anyone acting suspiciously that evening.
