A company director has admitted his firm operated an illegal waste activity on rural land for nearly two years.
Matthew Jackson, 36, director of DEM King's Lynn Ltd, pleaded guilty to the offence when he appeared in King's Lynn Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, May 16.
Environment Agency prosecutor Theresa Campion said the company had been depositing and storing vegetable washings on Poplar Farm, the Aqueduct, Outwell, between August 2013 and June 2015.
She said DEM, a company based in Langhorns Lane in Outwell, conducted the waste operation without an environmental permit, spreading the waste across 0.6 hectares of land.
Jackson only spoke to confirm his name and to enter a guilty plea on behalf of the company as its director. He was represented by Simon Nicholls of Belmores Solicitors.
Sentencing was adjourned until Monday, September 24.
