A dangerous dog hunt is underway after a seven-year-old boy was attacked by two Pit Bull sized animals at a beauty spot in North Norfolk.

The drama unfolded on Beeston Common in Sheringham during the town’s Carnival week.

The boy suffered reddening to his skin after being bitten by two black dogs.

Police would like to speak to a man who was seen with the animals on Thursday, August 3, around 12.55pm.

He is described as approximately 35-years-old, bald, tanned, of muscular build and wearing a blue t-shirt vest with sky blue coloured jogging shorts.

A spokesperson for Norfolk Constabulary said: “Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information should contact Norfolk Police on 101 quoting crime number 36/58719/17.”
