Wing mirrors were bent back or smashed on at least 10 cars and paintwork was scratched on another. Drills were also stolen from a red van and a Vauxhall Astra.
The damage was caused between 1am and 7am, and a spokesman for the police said that residents had been caused considerable distress and inconvenience from the damage.
