The race to become Norfolk's first police and crime commissioner is nearing its climax at St Andrews Hall this afternoon.
With turnout at just 15pc across Norfolk - 16.3pc - in Norwich, the count was brought forward from 2pm to 1pm.
Labour's candidate, Steve Morphew - former leader of Norwich City Council- has been at the count since the start.
Former army general Jamie Athill, Conservative candidate, was next to arrive followed by the supporters of former Conservative and Norfolk Police Authority chairman Stephen Bett.
Mr Bett, Norfolk's only independent candidate, arrived a little while later.
Matthew Smith, UKIP candidate, is also at the hall, as is Lib Dem candidate James Joyce.
All candidates are finding pockets of the hall to congregate in their respective groups - listening to news coming in from counts in other parts of the county, while the Norwich votes are collated in preparation for the results being announced shortly.
