A CCTV image that was released by police yesterday has proved successful after a stolen bike was handed into Bethel Street Police Station in Norwich today.
Police wanted to speak with the man pictured in the CCTV image following the theft of a black Giant Defy bike which was taken from a cycle rack on London Street on the afternoon of Monday, August 6, where it had been left secure.
The bike was later taken to a second-hand store but was not traded there.
Officers wanted to speak to the man in the image as they believed he would be able to assist with their inquiry.
A 24-year-old man is now helping officers with their enquiries and the bike will be returned to its rightful owner.
Police in Norwich have launched an investigation after a woman claimed in a tweet she had knocked a cyclist off their bike.
