Police are appealing for witnesses after a car was smashed while the driver was still inside.

A silver Mitsubishi Outlander was travelling along St Catherine’s Way in Gorleston when another car approached and blocked the road.

Two people got out of the offending vehicle and hit the Mitsubishi, leaving damage to the driver’s window, bonnet and passenger doors.

Officers believe the Mitsubishi driver and the two suspects are known to each other.

Anyone with information about the incident, which happened at around 9pm on August 8, should call on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
