A bus driver has been arrested in connection with video footage which shows him involved in a fight with a man.

The 40-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm at his home in Walpole St Andrew on Saturday morning.

It comes after the video footage emerged last week of the incident at the top of Prince of Wales Road.

In the video a single-decker Stagecoach bus is parked in the road in the background, with the door open.

The driver, who is dressed in a Stagecoach jacket, can be seen swinging the man around in the road, before the pair fall and continue to brawl on the pavement.

Stagecoach East confirmed the driver has been suspended and an investigation is underway.

He was questioned at King's Lynn Police Investigation Centre and was released from custody with no bail conditions but remains under investigation while enquiries continue.
