Burglary at Hingham Leisure Centre prompts police appeal

Officers are appealing for information following a burglary at Hingham Leisure Centre.

The incident look place at the centre in Watton Road sometime between 10.40pm on Tuesday May 13 and 6.30am on Wednesday May 14.

Between these times the offenders broke into the building through a window and caused damaged to a pool table, lottery ticket vending machine, juke box and an electronic games machine before stealing cash and a 42 inch flat-screen television.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have seen any suspicious behaviour in the area.

Witnesses are asked to contact PC Khamees Alothman at Norfolk Constabulary on 101.
