The 40inch flatscreen Samsung TV was in a communal lounge at Helgate Court, off Westwick Street.

The burglary happened between 10pm and 11.30pm on Sunday.

The suspects broke into the communal lounge after forcing a fire door at the complex.

Officers at Norfolk police said they believed the burglars would have made considerable noise breaking into the fire exit and are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything in the area.

Police also believe at least two people were involved.

Anyone with information should contact Det Con Pete Williams at Norwich CID on 101.
