Burglars steal cash from Great Yarmouth office after breaking in through skylight

Several hundreds of pounds were stolen from a safe in the early hours of yesterday morning after burglars broke in to an office in the Southtown area of Yarmouth.

Police are asking anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the Lichfield Road, Tollgate Road and Suffolk Road area to come forward.

CCTV picked up two figures walking along carrying a wooden joist that is believed to have been used to gain entry to the office via a skylight on the roof. The burglars stole the cash after getting into a safe.
