Burglars stole more than 40 pairs of women’s boots after breaking into a Norwich city centre shoe shop.

And police investigating the break-in are urging people to come forward if they are offered a pair of boots for sale on the cheap.

The burglary happened at a city centre shop overnight on Sunday, December 29, with 43 pairs of women’s boots stolen.

Police have not identified which shop it was, at the request of the store.

But they are appealing for information about the crime and are keen to hear from anyone who has been offered boots for sale.

Anyone with information should contact Sgt Pete Wilson at Bethel Street Police Station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
