Burglars stole a Morvo cast iron wood burner, two Stihl petrol chainsaws and a Stihl petrol hedge trimmer after breaking into an outbuilding at a property in a Norfolk village.

The incident happened during the early hours on Wednesday in Intwood Lane, East Carleton when the burglars forced open the front driveway gates and used a wheelbarrow to the main road.

The burglary is the latest in a number of similar offences in and around the area and police are urging local residents to be vigilant and report anything suspicious to police on 101.

Anyone with information should contact DC Phil Paddon at Norwich police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
