A would-be burglar was foiled in their attempt to break into an Earlham home, but police are still keen to hear from witnesses to the attempted break-in.

The crime happened at Sarah Williman Close between 9am last Thursday and 1pm the next day.

The criminal tried to break into the property by forcing the front door, causing damage to the lock and handle.

They failed to get in, but police want to hear from anyone who saw the attempted burglary or noticed anything suspicious in the area.
