A church on the east coast has been broken into after cars were vandalised outside the historic building.
The parish church at Burgh Castle parish church, St Peter and St Paul, was broken into overnight on Tuesday/Wednesday with the offender or offenders forcing entry by breaking a window and then forcing two sets of doors from inside to exit the building.
As this stage it is thought that nothing was taken from the church.
The break-in follows another incident on Tuesday afternoon when several cars had their windscreens smashed while parked in the small triangle area directly outside the church.
It has been reported to the police and witnesses are being sought.

Anyone with information on the incidents at the parish church should call Norfolk police on 101.
