Assault at Great Yarmouth chippy

POLICE are investigating an assault that took place in a busy Great Yarmouth chip shop involving two women.

The altercation happened between 4.25pm and 5.20pm on Friday at Rusty’s Chip Shop on Mill Road, Cobholm.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses, or anyone with information, to contact them.

Anyone who was in the takeaway at the time should call PC Andy Bunter on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
