Suffolk Police are appealing for help in tracing an arsonist who absconded from Hollesley Bay prison yesterday.

Lee Chapman, 34, who was serving a life sentence for robbery and arson, was last seen at the prison at 6am yesterday and was discovered missing about 8.20am.

Chapman has connections to the Peterborough area and is described as white, around 5ft 11ins tall, of slim to medium build with brown hair and blue eyes. It is not known what clothing he was wearing at the time he went missing.

If anyone sees Chapman they should phone the police. They should not approach him.
