Two 18-year-olds have been charged for entering Latitude Festival without paying.

Suffolk Police have charged James Dowsing, of Browning Close in Romford, and Jake Knowlden, of Lulworth Drive in Romford, after they were arrested at the festival, at Henham Park, near Southwold, on Friday afternoon.

Dowsing has also been charged with theft and with possession of cannabis, and both will appear at Lowestoft Magistrates Court on July 31.

Police have also arrested three men in connection with drugs offences.

An 18-year-old man from Broxbourne in Hertfordshire and a 20-year-old man from Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire, were arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply. Both have now been bailed until August 29 pending further enquiries.

A 22-year-old man from Arlesey, in Bedfordshire, was arrested on suspicion of possession of ecstasy with intent to supply and has now been bailed until 17 August.

A police spokesman said there had been more than 30 thefts from tents reported and half-a-dozen thefts from people.
