Appeal after woman bitten by dog in Wissett

A 32-year-old woman has been bitten by a Staffordshire terrier-type dog.
The woman was out walking her dog on a track off Mill Road, in Wissett, near Halesworth, when she was approached by two Staffordshire terrier-type dogs, which were off their leads.
A Suffolk Police spokesman said: “Fearing for the safety of her pet, she picked up her dog and was bitten on the hand by one of the other animals in the process.”
It happened at around 5pm on Friday.
Police are appealing for the man with the dogs, described as white, of slight build, and wearing a hooded top and high visibility jacket, to come forward.
One of the dogs was grey and black, the other was tan.
Anyone with information is asked to call PC Clark on 101.
