The offender got into the property by smashing a window, after getting onto the premises through the back garden.

Once inside they carried out an untidy search but nothing appears to have been stolen.

An attempt was also made to jemmy the rear bathroom window but this was unsuccessful.

The burglary happened some time between January, 7 and 3.45pm yesterday (Wednesday) and police are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to get in touch.

Call DC Gavin Rivett at Great Yarmouth CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
