Police need to trace the driver of a large white Ford Transit van following incidents in Lowestoft.

A 19-year-old woman was walking along Oulton Road at the junction with St Margaret’s Road, between 1.45am and 2.15am on Friday (July 11) when the van pulled up alongside her and the driver – a man – asked if she wanted a lift and asked her to get in the van, before driving off.

A few minutes later the van followed a 22-year-old woman in St Margaret’s Road causing the victim to run off. The same van is then thought to have followed a man walking around the Leisure Way area, before driving off.

The van is described as a large, clean Ford Transit removal style with no obvious writing on it. The van is white with an 11 plate.

■ If you have any information about these incidents or the driver of the van, please call PC Jade Daly at Lowestoft police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
