Police are appealing for a woman whose dog bit a passer-by to come forward.

A man was walking along Riverside when he was bitten on the thigh by what is thought to be a Rottweiler puppy at about 1.30pm on April 23.

PCSO Harriet Lucas said: “The woman, who was white, with dark hair in a ponytail and a local accent was very apologetic to the victim.”

“While we do not believe at this time that a criminal offence has not been committed, we would still like her to contact us.”

Anyone with any information should contact PCSO Harriet Lucas at Earlham Police Station on 101.
