Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an attempted burglary in Brundall.

The attempted break-in took place at an address in Cucumber Lane shortly before 4am on Saturday.

A man tried to break into the property through a side window. However, he was disturbed by the householder and made off in the direction of Brundall Cemetery.

A short time later a small vehicle was seen driving out of the cemetery.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who believes they may have seen any suspicious activity or spotted a small vehicle in the area around this time.

Witnesses are asked to contact Det Con Richard Wallis at Norfolk Constabulary on 101 or Crimetoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
