Anniversary checks have been carried out into an alleged common assault involving a man who died just days later.
Peter Shea, 73, of Manor House Close, Brandon, collapsed and died at his home on October 2.
Mr Shea had suffered a broken shoulder in an incident which took place on September 27 on Market Hill in Brandon at around 5.30pm.
A post mortem was inconclusive and further tests are being carried out before the cause of death can be confirmed. It is thought this may take a number of weeks.
Further enquiries have now been carried out by police and officers say they have spoken to a number of witnesses.
They returned to the scene of the alleged assault on Friday, speaking to around 140 people.
A 61-year-old man, Joaquim Cardoso, of Heath Road, Brandon, has been charged with common assault in relation to the incident.
Witnesses to the incident are being asked to contact Suffolk Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
