£20,000 damage caused as train windows smashed on Mid-Norfolk Railway

The windows of 18 unused carriages on the Mid-Norfolk Railway have been smashed by vandals, causing about £20,000 worth of damage.

Police have appealed for witnesses to the attack, which happened in Thuxton some time between 10am on Sunday, May 28 and 10am on Thursday, June 1.

Anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area between the times stated, or anyone with information, should contact PC Heidi Sweeney at Thetford Police Station on 101.
