Crews from Great Yarmouth, Martham and Gorleston were called to the incident in South Road at about 4.30am.

They tackled a fire in the roof, using specialist equipment to cut away parts of the building and had extinguished the blaze by 6.52am.

There were no casualties, as the person living in the bungalow was told to evacuate the building when they reported the fire.

A fire investigation team is due to visit the bungalow during the course of the day.
