Police were called to numerous crashes and nine fallen trees overnight after weather caused “extreme road conditions”.
Police said no-one was injured in any of the tree falls, and there were no reports of serious injuries in any of the car crashes.
It follows yesterday’s bad weather which saw fears of flooding on the north Norfolk coast, and 121 calls to police about highway obstructions.
The B1145 Reepham Road is partially blocked both ways between Jordan Lane and Old Lane because of a fallen tree.
The A149 in Burnham Overy Staithe was closed in both directions between the B1105 Holkham Road junction and the B1155 junction because of a fallen tree, but re-opened before 7.30am.
Power cables also fell and a diversion was put in place, with larger vehicles directed through Burnham Market.
Last night fire fighters were called out to fallen trees in Reepham Road, Attlebridge, which was cleared by local people, and Norwich Road in Caister, which was also cleared by local people.
