A fairy godmother received a visit from a former pantomime villain today when two Coronation Street actors were reunited.
Lowestoft Marina Theatre pantomime star Amanda Barrie had a surprise guest when actor Nigel Pivaro came to visit.
The former Carry On and Bad Girls star, who appeared in the Street as Alma Baldwin, is starring as Fairy Godmother in Cinderella in Lowestoft until January 4.
Mr Pivaro, who played the role of bad boy Terry Duckworth in Coronation Street, starred at the Marina Theatre, as the evil Abanaza in last year’s panto, Aladdin.
During his time at the theatre, Mr Pivaro, who now works as a journalist, spent a day as guest reporter at the EDP in Norwich.
A spokesman for the Marina said: “It was a wonderful surprise to see Nigel and to be able to reunite two of Coronation Streets best known stars. We had a wonderful time with him in Aladdin last year and are having just as much fun with the brilliant Amanda Barrie this year.”
This year’s production runs until January 4 and has already broken box office records.
