Christmas lights set to be switched on in Thorpe St Andrew

The annual Christmas lights event in Thorpe St Andrew will be held from 4pm on Sunday.

The event will be held in River Green, off Yarmouth Road, and will feature family entertainment, a Christmas market and Santa’s grotto.

The event will begin with the market opening at 4pm on The Buck pub’s car park ahead of a parade to River Green at 5.15pm to switch on the Christmas lights.

The evening will continue with carols and a nativity, led by Vineyard Church, before the event concludes with fireworks from Thorpe Island.

Yarmouth Road will be closed from 3pm to 8pm, with restricted access to South Avenue from Thunder Lane and access to Chapel Lane via Harvey Lane.
