A charity box was stolen from a bank in Southwold’s Market Place at about 2.30pm on Wednesday by a thief who was believed to be wearing a flat cap and a mac type coat.
The thief entered the Lloyds TSB bank and went to the cashiers desk asking to change a number of coins for a note. He then loitered inside the premises near the charity collecting boxes for a few minutes.
The suspect was white, in his late 40s to early 60s, of skinny build and was wearing dark rimmed glasses, a flat cap and a mac type coat.
Anyone with information should call PC 14 Phillips on 101.
Terrorism returned to the streets of London today as two suspected Muslim fanatics butchered a man in broad daylight in the name of “Allah”.
