A man has been charged with armed robbery after thousands of pounds were stolen from a Norfolk betting shop.
Dion Carr, 30, of no fixed address was charged, yesterday, Thursday, January 11, for robbery and having an offensive weapon in a public place.
The incident happened last year when a man entered a betting shop on The Thoroughfare, Harleston, on Friday, June 9, at around 4pm.
The shop was robbed of thousands of pounds before the man fled the scene.
Carr has been remanded in police custody and will appear at Norwich Magistrates Court today, Friday, January12.
