A Norfolk campaigner for Changing Places toilets will be sitting in a shop window on a toilet in London raising awareness of the need for the facilities.
Emma Spagnola, from Cromer, has doubled the number of Changing Places toilets throughout Norfolk and she also arranged for the Mobiloo, a mobile changing place, to be in situ for Cromer Carnival week. The purpose-built toilets are for people who cannot access standard toilets.
She said: 'I have campaigned for these toilets in Norfolk and was instrumental in getting the Intu Chapelfield Changing Places installed, as well as getting in touch with North Norfolk District Council to get a Changing Places toilet in plans for the new swimming pool in Sheringham.
'On May 11, campaigners, including myself, will be sitting in a Bathstore shop window on Baker Street on a toilet to raise awareness of the need for Changing Places.'
