A meeting called by Diss Town Council to decide whether to continue supporting a tourist brand initiative after concerns were raised over whether it provided any benefits has been postponed by one week.
Councillors had been due to meet on January 23 to discuss whether the council should carry on paying £1,500 annually as member of the international Cittaslow movement - set up as a badge of quality for market towns and to help attract tourists and funding.
Because of recent bad weather however, last night’s town council and planning meetings were postponed until January 23, and in turn the Cittaslow meeting will now ben held on January 30.
Naturists are to be banned from a nationally-renowned Norfolk beach following complaints about anti-social behaviour committed in the area.
