The auction and exhibition will feature more than 30 lots by artists from Barrington Farm, an art centre on the North Norfolk coast at Walcott, for adults with learning difficulties.

St Margaret’s Church in St Benedict’s Street, Norwich will be the venue for the exhibition, which runs April 21-25, with the auction, hosted by retired surveyor and auctioneer Peter Rushmer, there on the Friday evening.

Organiser Sarah Ballard said: “The estimates for the auction range from £10 - £1,000 as we’d like everyone to have the chance to own one of these amazing works of art.”

The Barrington Farm art studio supports more than 40 artists with learning difficulties. Founded in 1987, it is one of few art centres of its kind in the UK and has gained an international reputation as a centre of excellence for Outsider Art.

The artists will receive 60pc of sale price with a percentage also going to the The Barrington Farm Trust, which was established in 2010 to deliver high-quality projects that improve the lives of people with learning difficulties in North Norfolk through social, educational and recreational activities.

The exhibition is open 10am-5pm, Monday-Thursday, 10am-7pm on the Friday, with the auction from 7-9pm. The catalogue is £2 on the door or download from www.roarart.com. Emailed bids will be accepted via roar_art@hotmail.com before 6pm on Friday, April 25. Contact Sarah Ballard on 07193 282974 or email Roar_art@hotmail.com for more information or www.roarart.com.
