Casualty cut free after crash on A1066 near Gasthorpe

A person was cut from their car after a two-vehicle crash on the A1066 near Gasthorpe this afternoon.

The incident happened at around 1.40pm and fire crews from Diss, Thetford and East Harling attended.

They used hydraulic equipment to cut free the casualty and made the scene safe.

A 52-year-old woman was taken to West Suffolk General Hospital with chest pains, said a spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service.
