It has been a big hit in the West End and on Broadway, as well as a previous visit to Norwich Theatre Royal.

And the cast of One Man, Two Guvnors are enjoying being part of the show’s return to Norwich this week.

In a photo-shoot at the city venue Emma Barton, best known as Honey Mitchell in EastEnders, demonstrated some serious Sixties style as book-keeper Dolly and she was joined by fellow lead performers Norman Pace, who plays gangster Charlie Clench, and Gavin Spokes, who is reprising his West End lead role of Francis Henshall, for the Norwich Theatre Royal run which continues until Saturday.

Norman said: “The great thing about this show is that it pays tribute to the whole range of British comedy. There are lots of laughs in it and you would have to be very stony-faced not to enjoy it.”

He said he was also enjoying the opportunity to tour the country with the show.

“This is part of the National Theatre’s remit to take their productions out on tour and it is fantastic to bring this show to places like Norwich to ensure their productions truly are national,” he said.

• One Man, Two Guvnors is Norwich Theatre Royal until Saturday. Tickets £6.50-£26. To book call the box office on 01603 630000 or visit www.theatreroyalnorwich.co.uk

  • Sorry to puncture your bubble, Mr Pace, but I find after discussing with friends that there are quite a few people who have seen this particular production and not enjoyed it! (I thought it was just me...)
